Books are Best

I have always loved books, a trip to the local library was always a cherished thing for me! I do tend to read a lot of the same things now but when I was little I would read anything and everything! Books are VERY different now to when I was younger, even for toddlers they are a little darker and a little funnier ... Which is why one of my favourite shops in Edinburgh is Golden Hare Bookshop. They have a fantastic and dare I say it the BEST selection of childrens books I have seen in Edinburgh! I also love that they have now moved a little closer to us and reside in Stockbridge! They are not all about the children though they have a great selection of fiction and non fiction books for those of us a little longer in the tooth! But what really sells it for me is the quirky childrens selection. Its cool and its a little different, but they also sell childhood classics, so you can still find the tiger who came to tea, except he might be sitting next to Poo bum! Diversity is what makes the world interesting afterall... Its not all late night tea parties and magical trees anymore (sorry Enid, but I still love you )
