Civerinos

I am a little bit in love with street food, we've been having an affair for the past three years and I'm even more in love now than I was before !

So I was super excited to find out Civerinos had opened, was close by and child friendly!

The seating consists of bench seats and long tables so be prepared to sit near people you don't know. Though, the times I've been I've not had to sit right next to anyone and its spaced out enough for this not to be a problem. The other thing I noticed is that there were loads of families in both times which is great as they do slices of pizza for £4.00 a slice - and they are BIG pieces! But more on that later.

The staff are friendly and accommodating, its clean and it's not too expensive, however, I do think they are missing a trick. Civerinos is a great place for families and judging by their customers I'm not alone in thinking that, so I do think with a few very small tweaks they could be even more amazing for families, especially as there aren't a great deal of fantastic places in that part of town. (in my humble opinion anyway )

They could definitely benefit from adding orange juice to their drinks menu, it's quite a standard thing for children to order, as well as adding just a few smaller portions of things to the menu, and of course what all parents love to hear when they enter a restaurant CRAYONS and drawing paper !! Trust me, it goes a long way in keeping parents around longer and buying extra coffee's if they can sit in peace.

Now for the great stuff! The food is divine, the pepperoni pizza slices are gorgeous and generous in size for the price, I think margherita is the only other pizza you can order in individual slices, but the pizza isn't too doughy and thick, its the perfect thickness. We ordered the pulled pork pizza last time we were in and it was gorgeous, slightly spicy but not too spicy! Plenty of sides to choose from but all I can ever bring myself to order from the sides menu is the calamari, and this is because it is THE BEST GODDAMN CALAMARI I'VE EVER EATEN IN MY ENTIRE LIFE !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I cannot stress this enough. It is not rubbery, it is just enough saltiness and it is just something you need in your life so go and try it because I'm getting hungry just thinking about it again.

Civerinos has a great atmosphere, a great menu, friendly staff, good prices and epic food! It's fair to say my street saga of love continues....
